From communication, answering phones, charting, prioritizing, and delegating tasks, to taking the lead while my preceptor supported me, this internship has given me insight into the role of RCPs within the hospital system. I built confidence in communicating with other health professionals and earned trust from my RT mentor, who allowed me to take the lead after the first round. This program truly builds a bridge between students and practicing RCPs.
