MHSA Community Fund<\/h2>\n

The Kaiser Permanente Mental Health Scholars Academy provides grants to nonprofit organizations through the Kaiser Permanente Northern California Fund for Health Education at the East Bay Community Foundation. The fund\u2019s focus is to expand the pipeline of mental health professionals with an emphasis on meeting the unique needs of California\u2019s communities.<\/p>\n

Our Impact<\/h2>\n

Our first community grant funded research and a report from the Healthforce Center at UCSF examining opportunities for\u00a0expanding the pipeline of behavioral health paraprofessionals<\/strong>, including community mental health workers, peer providers, and social and human services assistants.
