DESCRIPTION:Join Tim Porter-O’Grady\, DM\, EdD\, APRN\, FAAN\, and Kathy 
 Malloch\, PhD\, MBA\, RN\, FAAN\, for an examination of how intentional pr
 eceptor development and organizational infrastructure can strengthen nursi
 ng retention\, engagement\, and professional practice.\n\nDrawing from the
  outcomes and lessons of Arizona’s statewide 2023–2026 preceptor grant
  initiative\, this session will examine the role of structured preceptorsh
 ip in supporting nursing students\, newly licensed nurses\, and nurses tra
 nsitioning into new specialties. Participants will explore the Six Domains
  of Nursing Preceptor Practice and consider how technical competence\, pro
 fessional development\, relational capacity\, communication\, peer integra
 tion\, and organizational culture function together to shape the transitio
 n-to-practice experience.\n\nThe session will also address practical strat
 egies for leading large-scale workforce change\, including standardized cu
 rriculum\, leadership engagement\, protected learning time\, data infrastr
 ucture\, and a sustained focus on measurable outcomes. This presentation i
