surgical technology, respiratory therapy, or other services such as medical assisting.<\/strong> In fact, of all people who provide health care, most are allied health professionals.<\/p>\n<p>Allied health professionals are not doctors or nurses \u2014 but they are <strong>essential in patient care settings<\/strong>. They may work in operating rooms, administrative offices, labs, etc. They may work in concert with physicians, directly with patients, or away from patient care but in vital
